NASA SEWP VI Contract Vehicle

NASA SEWP is one of the federal government’s most widely used governmentwide acquisition contracts (GWACs). It is available to all federal agencies and their approved support contractors. The sixth iteration, SEWP VI, significantly expands the program’s traditional focus on IT products. It now includes enterprise-scale and mission-level IT services, so agencies can acquire both technology and the expertise to deploy and manage it through a single, pre-competed vehicle.

SEWP VI also gives agencies more flexibility. It supports a range of order types beyond firm fixed price, and it permits small business set-asides at the order level. That makes it easier for agencies to meet their small business goals while moving quickly on mission-critical requirements.

Summary

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) was established in 1958 under the National Aeronautics and Space Act. NASA built on the foundation of the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics, its predecessor agency.

NASA manages vast amounts of scientific and mission data that must be stored, processed, and shared securely with researchers and partners.
