Government-Authorized AI, Run Inside Your Compliance Boundary
As an AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud partner, GovDataHosting deploys FedRAMP High and DoD IL-authorized large language models β Claude, GPT, Gemini, Llama, and Nova β inside a managed, accredited environment. You adopt generative AI for the mission; we run the compliant platform and pass down the controls.
The Model Is Software. The Boundary Is Everything.
Commercial AI starts with an API key and a public endpoint β which means your prompts leave the authorization boundary the moment you send them. For Controlled Unclassified Information, that is a compliance gap no encryption fixes. Government AI works the other way around: the authorized cloud service is the boundary, and the model runs inside it.
Authorized at the Service Layer
FedRAMP and DoD Impact Levels certify the cloud service. Models are software components that deploy within that authorized boundary β so the data never leaves accredited infrastructure.
One Partner, Three Clouds
We hold partnerships with AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud, so you are not locked to a single model family. We match the right authorized model to the mission, the data type, and the impact level.
Inherit Our Authorization
Run your AI workload on GovDataHosting's FedRAMP High PaaS and inherit 300+ pre-assessed NIST 800-53 controls β shrinking the documentation and assessment scope on your side of the line.
US Persons, US Data Centers
Workloads run in US-only data centers, supported by US-citizen staff, with FIPS-validated encryption and no use of your prompts or data to train foundation models.
The Government-Approved Cloud AI Landscape
Every major frontier model is reachable through FedRAMP-authorized infrastructure β but the platform, the authorization level, and the available model versions differ. Here is what each of our cloud partners brings to a government deployment.
Amazon Web Services
Amazon Bedrock Β· AWS GovCloud (US)Authorized Models
Platform Capabilities
- Bedrock Agents & Guardrails
- Knowledge Bases (RAG) & Model Evaluation
- Structured outputs in GovCloud
Microsoft Azure
Azure OpenAI & AI Foundry Β· Azure GovernmentAuthorized Models
Platform Capabilities
- Azure AI Search (RAG) & Document Intelligence
- Azure AI Foundry for app & agent build
- Copilot Studio (US Gov, FedRAMP High GCC)
Google Cloud
Generative AI on Vertex AI Β· Gemini for GovernmentAuthorized Models
Platform Capabilities
- Vertex AI Search & Vector Search (RAG)
- Agentspace & Agent Assist
- Web Grounding & Looker integration
Model and authorization availability in isolated government regions change frequently and typically trail commercial releases. GovDataHosting confirms the current model, region, and authorization status for your specific impact level before architecting your environment. Specific regulatory and authorization references are subject to subject-matter review prior to contract.
A Managed, Accredited Cloud Environment for Government AI Workloads
You bring the use case. We use our FedRAMP High certified GovDataHosting Cloud Platform to orchestrate your government cloud AI needs end to end β so your team works with the model, not the compliance machinery underneath.
What Agencies and Contractors Build
Authorized cloud AI is already in production across the federal mission space.
Document & Records Intelligence
Summarize, classify, and extract structured data from FOIA queues, case files, regulations, and contract documents at agency scale.
Constituent & Service Assistants
Grounded virtual assistants that answer citizen and employee questions from authoritative agency content β without hallucinating policy.
Acquisition & Proposal Support
Draft and review RFQ responses, authorization narratives, and compliance artifacts against a controlled, agency-owned content library.
Knowledge Search Over CUI
Retrieval-augmented search across sensitive internal repositories, with results scoped to user clearance and data labels.
Cyber & Log Analysis
Triage alerts, summarize incident timelines, and draft analyst reports across high-volume security and audit telemetry.
Mission & Program Analytics
Natural-language analysis over operational data β logistics, readiness, and program performance β with charts and narrative on demand.
Commercial FedRAMP Boundary vs. Government-Isolated
Your data classification β not your preference β usually decides the path. We help you scope it correctly the first time.
Latest Models, FedRAMP-Authorized
Azure commercial, GCP with Assured Workloads, or standard AWS regions operated inside an authorized boundary.
- Access to the newest frontier models shortly after release
- Fits CMMC Level 2 and FedRAMP Moderate-equivalent requirements
- Best for CUI workloads that don't carry ITAR restrictions
- Broadest capability and lowest cost-to-capability ratio
GovCloud Β· Azure Gov Β· Assured Workloads
Physically and logically isolated US regions for the most sensitive unclassified and defense workloads.
- Required for ITAR and DoD IL4/IL5 data
- US-persons access controls and US-only data residency
- A curated, authorized subset of models that trails commercial releases
- Highest assurance for defense and national-security missions

Cloud AI for Government, Answered
Are the AI models themselves FedRAMP authorized?
FedRAMP and DoD Impact Levels are certifications for cloud services β IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS β not for individual models. AI models are software components that deploy within an authorized environment. The compliance posture comes from the hosting platform, which is exactly what GovDataHosting operates and manages on your behalf.
Which clouds and models can you deploy?
We are a partner across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, so we can stand up Anthropic Claude, Meta Llama, and Amazon Nova through Amazon Bedrock; OpenAI GPT models through Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry; and Google's Gemini family through Vertex AI. We match the model to the data type, impact level, and mission.
Can we use the newest frontier models?
It depends on the boundary. Inside commercial FedRAMP-authorized boundaries, the newest models are typically available shortly after release. Inside isolated government regions β GovCloud, Azure Government, Assured Workloads β there is a curated, authorized subset that trails commercial availability while authorizations complete. We confirm current availability before we architect.
What about ITAR and CUI data?
CUI without ITAR restrictions can run in a commercial FedRAMP boundary that meets CMMC Level 2 and FedRAMP Moderate-equivalent standards. ITAR-controlled technical data requires US-persons access and US-only processing, which means an isolated environment β AWS GovCloud at IL5, Azure Government, or GCP Assured Workloads with the appropriate control package.
Is our data used to train the models?
No. In the government and enterprise configurations we deploy, your prompts, documents, and outputs stay inside your authorized boundary and are not used to train foundation models. Retrieval is scoped to your own data stores, and access is governed by your identity and data-labeling rules.
How do we get started?
Begin with an AI readiness review. We work through your data classification, target impact level, and use case, then recommend the cloud, model, and boundary that fit β and map the controls you can inherit from our FedRAMP High platform to shorten your path to authorization.
